Synopsis: A sweltering summer somewhere in nowhere in the southern United States. Singing Cicadas, warm winds and occasionally donating to a refreshing thunderstorm ...

Luke and Jonah are inseparable since childhood and feel secure in the noise of this last sensuous days before they go their separate ways. Jonah is the rational, the one who is going to college, while the sporty hatch grappling with brooding detention at school.

Director Mark Thiedemann succeeds with dreamy perfection, to draw the viewer into a spell of colors, sounds and moods. Highly praised by critics worldwide, LAST SUMMER paints a vividly intimate portrait of two young men, who know that they have to say goodbye, but can not leave each other. To close the film follows her gaze, the wedged bodies on the bed, almost like a third one feels in the league.

A film to fall in love and for lovers of any age.
