The young sensitive Evan, growing up as an orphan, was not always easy. In his relationship with the research Chris, the financial and social differences of the two become noticeable. They love each other, but they still scratch the idyll.
At a flea market in the neighborhood, Evan encounters an old Super 8 camera, which is in a crate of dusty film rolls. There are 2 teenagers whose friendship contains something mysterious. Soon Evan gets to know the slightly older Peter, who turns out to be one of the guys on the film rolls. From a harmless flirtation, a passionate affair develops quickly, which remains undiscovered. Can Evan decide between the mysterious Peter and his long-term relationship with Chris?
THE SURFACE seduces the viewer through summer pictures of innocent youth days and lets us feel the romantic charm of a new love with Evan.
